Our Team
Policy Strategist
Sara retired from Pasa in March 2024. Congratulations, Sara–you are missed!
Sara works with Pasa staff, members, and partner organizations to identify and advance ways to improve soil health, economic and environmental sustainability, and conservation generally. She helps connect farmers to new ideas and opportunities, and communicates farmer’s policy priorities to decision makers and stakeholders.
Prior to joining Pasa, Sara worked as policy director for Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, and did field work in forestry, stream restoration and riparian buffer planting. She has a masters degree from Yale’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
