Valerie is part of our customer support team, working to maintain a welcoming and inclusive application process for frontline workers applying to the Farm and Food Workers Relief Program in 14 states throughout the Northeast.
Over the last decade, Valerie has mainly been working in healthcare. She recently had the opportunity to work as a technical assistant and outreach coordinator on the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program for farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners, which introduced her to the world of farming and agriculture and its challenges. Valerie welcomes the opportunity to help support the Farm and Food Workers Relief efforts.
Valerie recently left the New York metro area and moved upstate alongside her family and pets. She enjoys getting lost in a book, walking the local trails with her family, and discovering new anime with her daughter.
